September Happenings :)

Well, hello there sunshine :) Yes, its still sunshiny and warm here in FL - our days are mostly below 90 now.  I'm not telling my Michigan friends and family this to make you jealous, I'm just hoping you will come visit this fall or winter!  Ana would love to show off her new swimming skills and she may even let you hold her creepy naked water baby.

So having 1 child at home is beautiful.  Ana and I have been having a lot of fun together and I almost feel bad... like I'm cheating the system or something.  It's getting too easy, which is making me wonder if it's time for another....And then I have days like yesterday and today when she screams and cries most of the day due to cutting molars.  Poor girl :(

We've been having fun with the local Moms Club and are meeting some really nice kids and moms. Here's some picture of a play date we had where we made fall crafts.

Eliana's beautiful scarecrow :)

I think we are finally getting into a good morning routine.  Kids are up by 7:30 and I have usually been up for 45 minutes enjoying coffee, making lunch, and soaking in as much quiet time as possible before the craziness of the day starts :)

We leave the house around 8... via scooter or bike.  Free breakfast is available for all the kids, which Camden loves.  I think it makes him feel independent that he can choose chocolate milk vs me telling him to get white milk.

He had an open house this week so we could see his classroom and get an update from the teacher.  He introduced us to some of his friends and their parents. One of the moms (Ava's mom) said she hears all about Camden every night from Ava.  Apparently on the first day of school Camden offered to carry Ava's backpack for her and Ava has been smitten ever since. Lol!

Miley is LOVING our morning and afternoon walks!

Big kid getting his bike on the rack :)

Camden's teacher, Mrs. Witte, has reassured us that he is adjusting well and is a joy to have in the class :)

This has been my favorite picture sent home so far...

Little Miss is obsessed with bubbles lately! Every morning when we get back from walking Camden to school, we must play with bubbles :) It's the little things in life....

The other morning Ana said there was a 'baby alligator' in her room.  Her window looks out on the pond, so I thought maybe she saw one out the window.  This is what we saw walking into her bedroom. Not a baby alligator :) But a friendly little lizard. Thankfully he wasn't in the house, but on the window displaying his shadow to us.  We are definitely getting used to all of God's little Florida creatures... including roaches. (yuck!)

A beautiful morning at the park :)

Chasing a bubble :)

Love this girl!

We went to dinner Saturday and had to run to the mall for something.  Ana convinced us she was ready to get her ears pierced.  We sat in the chair for at least 15 minutes while the lady got everything all set and ready to go.  We filled out the paperwork, picked out the earrings, got her ears cleaned, marked them with a permanent marker, talked about the lollipop she was going to get after she was so brave.  She was so giddy and excited the entire time.  We were centimeters away from having her ears pierced and she freaked out :( Another time, I guess....

Camden and his neighborhood buddy, Tyler, setting up obstacle courses :)
No wonder the kids have been going to bed around 7pm...

We visited the local library this week and had so much fun.  They have a great toddler time that Eliana loved. Lots of singing, dancing, and bubbles!

Ana and her friend Kenzie 'reading' after toddler time.  We have come to love Kenzie and her sweet family.  They are recent Florida transplants as well and also attend our church.  We feel very fortunate to have them in our lives.

Picture day! It's hard to believe this little guy is growing up so fast.  I love him so much.
