Where did the summer go?!

Last weekend all of the girls lived like Princesses for a couple of hours.  Gramma treated us to a fun girl's day complete with breakfast with the Disney Princesses and Build-a-Bear! Princess Evelyn and Princess Eliana were the prettiest ones there...

Eliana was still fairly young to grasp the 'Real Princess Life'.  She gazed at everything with wide, wondrous eyes the entire time.

These pretty ladies sure know how to chow down!

Ana waited patiently for her turn to fill her Princess Bear with surfing...

She was so cute to watch toddling around holding a bear that was almost as big as her.

Every Princess Bear must have a great pair of shoes...

"Oye, all this shopping is making us tired... "

Thank you Gramma for a fun-filled girl's day! Looking forward to many more in the future... mani/pedi, next?!

Ok, so this comes at no surprise whatsoever... but Eliana is a huge baseball fan. Whenever the Tigers are on TV, she stops whatever she is doing, locks eyes with the TV, and starts screaming "ball" "ball" "ball"! Here's our little princess in her Tiger's gear.

This girls got quite the arm on her too! Although I truly believe this picture looks like she's spiking a mini-volleyball :)
I think we have a lefty on our hands...
Before the Princess breakfast...
Daddy doesn't mind his little princess being girly, but he wanted to make sure she knew how to throw a ball :)

Oh... mister Camden. I think you are ready for preschool to start again.  You need a little bit of structure back in your life.  I love you, but your "cool dude" attitude is sometimes a bit much for me.  Most of the times I just shake my head and laugh when I see you in the rear view mirror lip singing like you are on TV or talking on your fake cell phone to your imaginary friend Jacob who lives in the woods.  True story... you talk about Jacob from the woods all the time. He has taught you everything you know. I'd love to be on the line during one of your conversations to hear what he has to say ;)
Your "swag" can quickly turn into an emotional roller coaster full of tears and hurt feelings over the littlest things.  I love that about you though...
Daddy and Camden Day...Planes movie and a visit to Hat World!
I LOVE going on a date and receiving a picture text from our babysitter that our kids are yard painting... how cool is that?! Camden and Eliana, when you get older and read through your blog, you need to know that your babysitter, Ms. Emily, loves you so incredibly much.

So... yea, this picture is for real and yes, I'm shocked myself that I have my 12 month old on a toilet! For awhile now when Eliana is pooping, she will look at me with a red grimaced face and say "pooo".  One morning I decided when she did it, I was going to put her on the potty.  Voila... she pooped in the toilet.  She's gone poop 4 times and potty twice.  I'm not sure I will try too hard, but I guess if she can tell me... why not?! :) Oh, and I didn't mean to put this bib on her while she was on the toilet... but yes, we are both pretty while pooping. ha!

We've been outside doing a lot of landscaping lately.  Camden has been having fun helping! He insisted on wearing his helmet...

He took a break to check the mail.  He dropped all the bills in the middle of the road and came running toward me screaming "I got mail! I got mail!" Thank you Ms. Penny for the cute F.R.O.G. card:)

Camden's race car with "super power fire blowers" in the back
Eliana enjoyed chalking too!
Snack break...
Eliana is starting to walk all over the place now and she's quite proud of herself :) Loves to clap and walk - here's a quick video

One of the many trips to Lowes
Ana helping Papa
Yay! All finished!
Thank you Papa!
Kellogg's hosted a family day at the zoo last week.  It was perfect weather and the best part was spending a Friday afternoon with Daddy:) Camden was in heaven!

This might be my new favorite picture.... Daddy's girl for sure!

Cam and Abi finishing their lunches and checking out their cool goodie bags!

Cruisin' and Bruisin' in Brother's old Frosted Flakes shirt!

We walked the zoo with Michelle and Craig and these two lovelies enjoyed hanging out with each other:)

It's rare that I ever get a good picture of Camden anymore.... he insists on making his "cool kid" faces.

We made our annual visit to the fair! All the cousins had a great time hanging out.

Sweet Eliana, you were 3 weeks old the last time you were at the fair...

You've grown into such a cutie patootie who ooo'd and ahh'd and everything this year!

The ponies are always our first thing to do and will always be a favorite.  This year the kids got more joy from watching them poop than actually riding them...

Climbing on every tractor is also another fav!

Camden and Julian had fun on the carney rides. They learned an economics lesson the hard way when they each blew through $6 bucks going on 2 things!  Sorry dudes...

Camden wasn't a fan of the stinky cows!

Eliana was SO sweet with the little chicks and squealed with excitement when she got to touch them.

We visited a friend's lake house over the weekend.  The kid's had a blast! Thank you Michelle for having us :)

Camden had a field day! He got to fish, jet ski, and go tubing... on the way home, he asked if we could live on a lake. Daddy liked his thinking :)
