What a blessed Easter weekend! We were greeted Sunday morning with Camden climbing into bed with us to snuggle. This normally doesn't happen anymore... he usually just says good morning and then goes out to the living room to play the ipad for a little bit before we wake up. But Easter morning seemed extra special to get first thing hugs and kisses on such an amazing morning celebrating our risen Savior!
He quickly found all 48 eggs (to be exact)... and surprisingly only requested to eat one piece of candy before church. P.S. Yes, Eliana is wearing Christmas PJ's :)
Eliana loves her new sandals - now it needs to just warm up!
Camden is all set for soccer with his new cleats and shorts! He also got a chocolate bunny and two movies. He insisted on taking his chocolate bunny over to Gramma's to share with everyone - what a sweetie.
Elle could hardly contain her excitement with her new ball popping toy :)
All ready for church!
Extra snuggles from Big Brother...
Ms. Penny, Eliana's church nursery teacher, surprised her with a very thoughtful gift... and of course got to rock her to sleep on Sunday :) Thank you Ms. Penny for the love you show toward my children.
Some new spring/summer clothes!
Oh, the excitement! Even flared nostrils...
" Oh Ms. Penny, you shouldn't have... "
Camden looking more and more like his Daddy - good lookin' dudes :)
Not only are you looking more and more like your Daddy, you sure do act like him. Your sense of humor is pretty silly, you love your Mommy and Sister, and your eagerness to learn about God is endless. I pray every day that you will grow up to be a Godly man like your Daddy. I've been calling you my little preacher man lately. The other day I randomly heard you singing a song about Jesus being your light. After listening for a minute or so, I asked you if that was a new song you learned at preschool or church. "Nope, just a song I made up."
I also love to hear you pray. You are so innocent and it's like you are just having an every day conversation with a friend. Almost all the time you pray, you pray for your sister and thank God for the sunshine :)
Keep it up little man, Mommy and Daddy are very proud of you.
Moms Club Easter Party!
It was a little chilly, but we definitely enjoyed the sunshine.
Sharing his Easter eggs with Eliana
Happy 8 Month Birthday Baby Girl :)
Gramma's Birthday!
We helped Gramma celebrate her 29th birthday on Friday ;) hehe
Although it was Gramma's birthday, she showered the kids with fun Easter baskets!
Helping Gramma blow out her candles.
Abram watching Evie doctor Eliana :)
Egg and Cookie Party!
One of my good friends from high school, Aunt Michelle as Camden knows her, hosted a wonderful Easter party for our kiddos. They had a great time decorating eggs and cookies.
She is SO brave :)
A "Camden and Mommy" egg
Eliana and Harper enjoyed playing in the ball pit together...
Elle is so excitable... just like her brother.
Can you guess which one is Camden's? Yep, the one with the big blob. Cam thought it was hilarious when Mommy got some of the 'blob' on my finder, licked it, and then had a stained blue mouth :)
Proud Daddy showing off his little Michigan fan!
