Funnies from Camden

Oh Camden... you sure do keep me on my toes! Over the last week I've kept track of some of the funny and very cute things you've shared with me. Here goes...

 * You found Elmo in the basement and decided to bring him upstairs. You had lunch with him and decided it was time for him to take a nap. You fed him a bottle, wrapped him in a blanket and put him to bed.  When you came out of your bedroom (where Elmo was sleeping), you asked me to be quiet and not to wake up Elmo. So we whispered back and forth for a little bit. A couple minutes passed and I started to talking to you in a regular voice. You shhh'd me and said, "Mom, I've asked you several times to be quiet." I guess I know what I sound like now :)

* The week we watched the World Series Camden kept referring to it as the 'World Serious'.  Kyle and I just laughed.

* We've been talking a lot about Hurricane Sandy and praying for those affected by the big storm.  Camden has a hard time comprehending how houses made of brick could be blown over....referring to The 3 Little Pig story....

* Apparently I do not take Camden to department stores often enough for him to realize that we do not try to undress the mannequins.  We were walking through Macy's the other day and he just stopped and starred at the half dressed mannequins.  He then decided it was a good idea to lift up their nightgowns.  Yea, embarrassing mother moment :)
That is a chip sticking out of his mouth...

Camden, you also have the biggest little heart imaginable.... The other night we were laying in his bed talking before he went to sleep.  He said, "Mom, when I go to heaven and become an angel, I want to fly next to you and Eliana." I had to fight back tears after that one.  So sweet.

Camden had a night out with the 'big boys' this weekend.  Uncle Tyler and Mr. Steve entertained him while Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a night out.  You can imagine the thoughts running through my head when I received this picture text....

When I asked Camden to explain this picture, this was his exact response:

"So we went to McDonalds then we went to Target. Mr. Steve put that dress on me. So then I got a spiderman mask and then we walked out to the car and I saw this big big big giant box and Mr. Steve lifted me up and I pulled it down. Then Mr. Steve was rolling laughing on the ground. The box fell. Then Uncle Tyler handed the box to the worker at Target and we left.  Then we went to get ice cream and then we went to Lowes to see Papa.  My favorite part was trying on the princess dress because it made Uncle Tyler and Mr. Steve laugh."

Little Miss Elle Belle...
is doing just wonderful these days.  She has discovered her giggles and it is the most joyful sounds.  I love it.  This girl has also been a rolling machine.  So much fun to watch her practice; however, she tends to wake herself up at night just rolling over.  Speaking of night time, we are so thankful this little girl sleeps so well. Lord knows her brother didn't.  She is in bed asleep by 7:30 and typically sleeps until 3-4am, sucks down and bottle and goes right back to sleep until about 7-7:30 in the morning.

We started a new November tradition this year. Every day Camden is putting a feather on our turkey or something he is thankful for.  Its been a lot of fun so far talking about all of our blessings.  P.S. Daddy made an awesome turkey, didn't he?!

A recent preschool art project from Cam...I think he is going to take after Daddy in the artistic department :)
