We have sure enjoyed all the wonderful weather lately. The 100 degree temps haven't been too bad since we are lucky enough to have spent them in water. Last Friday we ventured out to Wall Lake to visit with some friends. Camden had a blast and even got to go tubing for the first time :)
It wasn't too surprising to learn that Camden isn't much of a 'lake boy'. He enjoyed being on the water, but found out quickly that swimming in a lake is much different than Grandma and Grandpa's pool. He wasn't a fan of seaweed and mucky sand.

I don't think he stopped smiling....
Wednesday was the last night of Tee-Ball. Camden enjoyed playing and has already started asking, "what's next, momma?" I've been answering... "well, baby sister will be here and then pretty soon you get to start pre-school." That hasn't been a good enough answer for him though... he somehow knows that basketball is in the fall and that is next :)

Proud little dudes!
Lots of sunshine and water will leave you exhausted.... The other night I went into give Cam a kiss before I went to bed and found him like this. Tired little boy!
All the heat has also made us crave watermelon.... oh wait, Kyle was just being funny with one. His sense of humor is one of the many things I love about him.
The other day Camden and I were going through all the baby toys. He found his first Halloween costume, a penguin outfit, and just had to see if it still fit. Silly kid.
And of course I had to pull up a picture of when he actually fit in it.... he was 10 months old.

36 Weeks and 2 days
I officially made it past the point of when Camden was born (35 weeks). I somehow feel 'overdue' now. I'm realizing how spoiled I was to have my baby 5 weeks early AND be completely healthy..... I missed out on these last really uncomfortable weeks.
My doctor appointment yesterday was rather uneventful. I thought my doc was going to check me to see if I was dilated at all, but she said she felt that if she did, she didn't think I would make it past this weekend. She really wants me to make it to 37 weeks (full-term). I understood and too want a healthy baby, but am SO anxious to have that little girl in my arms.
Kyle is getting anxious too and it's quite cute. The other day he made the comment "I just want to meet my daughter" and I about melted. I can't wait to see him with his little girl.
Also, I swear I can't call him at work anymore without him answering on the first ring saying, "is everything ok?" Actually its like that with everyone I call these days :)
Overall, I'm feeling ok. My feet have been pretty normal until the last week... now by about 9am they are swollen. I've been having a lot of contractions, just nothing I can really time.
Nursery is DONE.... Yay for lots and lots of pink!!
Here are some recent pictures of some of the additional decorations.

This little blue lace dress and white shoes were mine. I got baptized in it and my mom has been holding on to it. It's also extra special because my Great Aunt Marylin sewed it. We plan to have our little girl wear it when she gets dedicated at our church.
Camden and Miley are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little sister. I think they both know it's coming soon. Miley has been at my feet non-stop and Camden has had a major attitude lately.
Today was the worst yet. If you were in Kohl's around 11:30am, I'm sure you heard my son screaming bloody murder. The biggest public tantrum of my life so far..... all because he could not get a toy. God's grace must have been with me because I had an overwhelming sense of calmness as he screamed his way through the store and the entire way home.

I had a huge urge on Monday to re-cover our car seat. It's done and I love it :)
