Summer Fun...Baseball, Pool, and Zoo!

Camden got a special surprise when he and Daddy went to the Bombers Game last night.  They walked into the gates and Cam was asked if he wanted to play against the Bomber's team during the 6th inning.  Of course he said YES!

Below is a link to a video of him hitting the ball and running the bases.  The Bombers tried so hard to get him out, but couldn't ;) So he got a HOME RUN!

After his big Bomber debut, he walked out of the locker room and was interviewed by the local newspaper.  They got his picture and may use him for an article next week.

When he was going to bed that night he said, " mom, I just don't understand why I couldn't use the player's bat, ball, and helmet. That's why I didn't hit it that far. Also, those ladies didn't have to run with me around the bases. I know what I'm doing." God love him :-)
He even got to sit in the dugout!

Pool Is OPEN!
Mimi and Papa's pool is finally fixed - Hooray! Camden enjoyed every minute of watching the big water truck dump thousands of water into the pool.

The water definitely wasn't warm enough for Mommy, but Cam and Mimi had fun splashing around in it.

Next thing we knew, Cam was soaked and wanted to skinny dip.  This kid is crazy because it was freezing! He got his bum wet and that was about it ;)

Tee-Ball!
Monday night was our first night of Tee-Ball.  It was hilarious to see these 3 and 4 year olds field, hit, or even try their hardest to listen to the coaches. They all will learn so much this year and have fun making new friends while they play.

Camden and Julian practiced their fielding together.  I'm sure this will be the first of many baseball practices for these two.  Watch out PHS baseball :)

Dentist!
This was Cam's 2nd teeth cleaning and he did awesome.  He loves Dr. Morris and the hygienist, Miss Meredith.  They make it so fun for him to get his teeth cleaned.

Fun Day at The Zoo!
Camden and I took another trip to the zoo this week.  The weather was perfect - mid 70s and sunny.

While we sat together on a bench eating a chocolate chip cookie and drinking lemonade a thought came to mind that the days of just me and Cam will soon be a distant memory. I have to admit that it makes me a teeny bit sad.  (OK, a lot sad. I'm sitting here crying as I type this). Damn hormones.

I know we will have no problem welcoming baby sister with open arms on our adventures.  And we will make so many more fun memories with her.  It may just be a little crazy at first with all the diaper changes, feeding, etc. :)

I will soon join the many moms who successfully juggle two kids and somehow make it look easy.  Good thing I have a lot of ladies to call for advice and support... Emily, my sister in law and Jess, my neighbor are two that reminded me of this yesterday at the zoo.  Amazing women and friends!

Here's a video of Cam, Julian, and Evie enjoying the train ride yesterday. Train Ride
