First Soccer Goal!

Saturday's soccer game started out rather slow for Camden. It was hot, he was tired, and even before we left the house he said he didn't want to play.  Then things turned worse when Julian showed up sideline with the yummiest looking donut a kid could ask for.  We were happy Julian came to cheer on Cam, but it was SO hard for Camden to understand that he couldn't eat his donut that Julian brought him until AFTER the game.
Hangin' with his team before the game starts
Call me a weakling if you want, but I felt bad for the kid and finally gave in letting him have two bites of his donut.  Well I think that's just what he needed because he ran right back onto the field and SCORED HIS FIRST GOAL!

Cam ran about half of the field kicking the ball and then into the goal! It was absolutely priceless.  I wish I would have gotten it on video... but I didn't. Bummer. Right after he scored, he turned around and ran straight for the sidelines with his hands in the air screaming "I scored a goal!" "I scored a goal!" over and over again.  He gave everyone high-fives and then returned to the field to his team.  Here it is 4 days after his game and he's still talking about it.  What a fun experience for him :)
Right after the big GOAL!
OK, like I haven't already bragged enough about Cam's first soccer goal... I'm going to brag a little more about him again. Sorry, I'm just one proud Mama :)  Camden has been working hard on writing his name and is really getting the hang of it.  Here's his latest signature....

The Boehm bathroom renovation is coming along! Daddy had been working so hard to get not only the bathroom, but the nursery done as well.  The bathroom isn't totally done, but done enough for Cam to take his first bath.
Daddy laid the tile floor and thankfully Papa Boehm came down the help drywall.  It's really coming together nicely :)

Baby Girl's room is coming along too :) Makes me so excited to see this pink on the walls! The bottom part will be white bead board.  I'll post more pics as the room comes together. As of right now, all the new bathroom stuff is in there.
