Spring Sunshine :)

Meet Cam's new friends... Jack and Joey.  These little magnetic guys have kept Camden busy for hours.  They have different outfits and you can interchange their clothes.  Thanks Mimi and Papa for my early Easter present .

Subway! You may not think this is "blog worthy" but if you know Camden's eating habits... then it sort of is :)  I'm so happy we finally have a somewhat fast food place we can eat that isn't McDonalds.  Although the sub sandwhich is plain jane... turkey and cheese, it's a start.

After we ate our subs, we ventured over to the park to enjoy some sunshine with our favorite playmates, Julian and Evie.  It's a miracle they even sat still enough for me to snap any pictures...

Speaking of miracles... do you think we will ever get all three (4 soon!) cousins to look at the camera and smile?

After about 10 shots, Cam had had a enough and J and Evie just forgot to open their eyes.  Love these kids :)

Little Lady Update
22 weeks 2 days
How Far along: 22 weeks 2 days. At today's appointment, I was measuring 24 weeks.  The Doc said we would see how I was measuring in two weeks and then determine if my due date will be moved. I think she will be here mid-end of July.  Baby Girl certainly feels like she's doubled in the last two weeks! Her heartbeat was 155.

Total weight gain: Ok, I made the doctor happy... I've gained a total of 3 pounds.  Baby really enjoyed those Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies ;)

Maternity clothes: What do you think? lol

Sleep: Thank goodness for body pillows.  I finally had to bring mine to bed.  Kyle isn't too happy because it's like a third person in bed with us.  And when I change sides throughout the night, he says I tend to do it rather violently, flailing the pillow all around and often times taking all the covers with me.

Best Moment this week: Many happy and exciting moments come to mind over the last two weeks.  Camden has been talking more and more about his baby sister.  This always brings a smile to my face.  When we talk about the Easter Bunny visiting us, he asks to make sure sister will get something.  I love his random kisses to my belly.  I even heard him singing a prayer the other day: Thank You Jesus, For our Food, and my Baby Sister. Amen.

We also ordered nursery bedding! Below is a picture of it.  I'm pretty sure we will order the valence curtain as well.

Movement: This little girl is active! I'm feeling much higher kicks now.  I wish Cam would sit still enough to feel her....

Belly button: Popped out!

Cravings: Nothing new... same ol, same ol. I can tell my appetite has really picked up though.

What I miss: I love being pregnant. I loved it with Camden and remember when my water broker at 35 weeks, the first thought that ran through my head was 'wait, I'm not ready to not be pregnant anymore.' Yes, I have the typical aches and pains and I'm sure Kyle will tell you that I complain about them All.The.Time. But I really do love it.  I love my belly, the anticipation of the arrival of our little miracle, hearing her heartbeat every couple weeks, feeling her kicks, listening to Cam talk about his baby sister, the list could go on and on.

This week I had a couple things remind me  to slow down and just 'grow that baby'... Ok, a couple things besides my mother ;)

Hopscotch - Camden was at the neighbor's house playing hopscotch.  He screamed for me to come over and play. So I did.  Not a good idea. Note to self: Pregnant women should not jump.

Blooming Flowers - With the gorgeous weather we've had, I've been itching to get outside and clean out the yard.  I was out there for 15 minutes and realized I was going to have to hand that chore over the Kyle :(

'Boy' play with Cam - I really miss being able to lay on the floor and wrestle with Cam or have him ride on my back  while we 'go on a bear hunt'.  Thankfully he understands that mommy can't play rough right now.... so he waits patiently for Daddy to get home.

What is different this time around: I've been having some sciatic back pain this time around.  It has been mostly at night when I first get into bed, but has recently happend a couple times while just walking.  It's painful and literally debilitates you for a second or two.

On a brighter note, this time around I get to swoon over cute little baby clothes like the below :)  I have kept these two items on my dresser for the last week because they are so stinkin' cute and I love just looking at them.
