We had a very nice and relaxing Easter weekend. Camden's Easter festivities started out with a massive Moms Club Easter egg hunt on Thursday. My neighbor and I decided to host it between our houses. We were shocked when we has 40+ people (moms and kids) RSVP'd. It was a great time!
There were enough eggs for each child to walk away with about 15 eggs filled with candy. Of course, Cam was thrilled when he found the candy inside. What did my little OCD child do? Nope, not eat it, but rather open up every egg take out all the candy and then put each piece back in it's egg... over and over again.

I love the look on Cam's face here. He became very competitive. Does this surprise you?
Have you seen the commercials for the Rice Krispie Eggs? Daddy and Camden had fun making them and they turned out cute and delicious!

After you make the egg molds in the plastic eggs, you slide the plastic part off and voila! Rice Krispie Eggs with surprises inside.
We loved having Daddy home for an extra day this weekend. The weather was perfect on Saturday, so we spent a couple hours at the park.
Easter Morning!
Camden enjoyed finding about 40 Easter eggs on Sunday morning. He didn't want to color eggs this year. We even boiled them... but every night we asked him, he said he would rather go outside and play.
Cam had a blast finding all the eggs and his basket! Here's a video too! Click here
The Easter Bunny brought Camden all of his soccer gear for his upcoming season that starts on Saturday!
Cleats, shin guards, soccer ball, and socks! What more could a little boy ask for? Certainly not clothes.... who needs those?
After playing a couple hours of underwear soccer (well.... just Cam;), we decided to dress up and head to church. As you can see from the picture, Cam wasn't too happy about having to get dressed. As we were getting ready to leave, we see him dragging his suitcase out of his room. He said he packed his soccer stuff in his suitcase and was going to change back into it right after church and before we went out to lunch. Thankfully he forgot about it after church and we didn't have to fight that battle :) Love this kid.
Cam visited the Easter Bunny at the mall. I felt a little sorry for this bunny, as he didn't have much of a lap for the kids to sit on. Owell.... Cam didn't mind. He still enjoyed seeing him and wasn't scared (like mommy;)
By Saturday afternoon, this is what our bathroom looked like. Thankfully, we have another bathroom we can use for the time being. Although it only has a shower stall and Cam is deathly afraid of showers at this point in his life.
And if you tilt your head to the right, this is what it looked like by Sunday evening. I really do admire my husband's ambition and talent :)
Camden kept saying over and over again, "Daddy, you better clean up this mess or Mommy will be upset." He knows his Mommy too well.

| A tickle and a kiss is a sure way to get him laughing :) |
