Happy Birthday Daddy! Kyle enjoyed sporting his new Detroit Tigers coat and riding his new bike he got for his birthday. His plan is to ride his bike to work when it gets warmer out... I'll let you know how that goes ;)
It was nice to see both sides of the family this weekend. Papa and GG came to visit on Saturday and we went to Mimi and Papa's house on Sunday. We celebrated both Kyle and Tyler's birthdays! As you can see, the kids took over blowing out the candles, which meant we all consumed a fair amount of spit.
A Fowler family function wouldn't be complete without a shirtless dance party (kids only, of course:)
Hanging out with friends!
Camden, Phillip, and Abi enjoyed a nice bike ride the other evening. Thank you to the Daddy's for watching the kids while the Mommy's went out to dinner :)
Cam and Julian had a blast playing at a new Bounce Land in town. It's so nice to have something close and indoor.
Preschool Registration
Camden was in for a surprise when we went to register him for fall preschool! We were only expecting to drop off paperwork, instead they invited him to join the class for the afternoon. We went to library with the class to read a book about worms then enjoyed dirt and worms (oreo and gummy worms) snack.
We then ventured into the classroom where they had stations set up. Cam got to look at worms with a magnifying glass, break apart a clay cup mold to find a plastic dinasour inside, and play at the sand table.
It was so reassuring to see Cam enjoy himself. He is already asking when fall will be here so he can go back.
Super Heroes!
This mask found at TJMaxx has sparked a new love for Camden. Camden was searching the kid's section when he came over to mommy and mimi and said, "I think baby sister will love this mask... and these two pink things!" We couldn't help but laugh at first and then of course buy all of it :) Cam was excited to pick out two lovey blankies for baby as well as a pink Detroit Tigers dress.
The mask has gone everywhere with Cam.... even to the ice cream shop last night where he insisted on getting Superman ice cream. Camden is a little quirky and last night he definitley showed off that side of his personality.
He refused to start eating his ice cream until all of us got our ice cream and sat down at the table. I guess he was being poilite? This isn't the first time he has not been able to eat unitl 'something' happens. For instance, today he wouldn't touch his snack until I turned his show on. I asked him why he wanted to wait and he responded, "It will just make me mad if I start eating before my show is on."
And as you can see from the picture, he is wearing a napkin to cover his shirt. He was SO concerned about getting it dirty.
I love my little quirky guy :)
A couple weekends ago, Camden enjoyed a fishing trip with Daddy and Papa Boehm.
He is still talking about how he filled his shoes with worms!
