And So It Begins....

And So It Begins.... SHOPPING! Mimi and Mommy already have a good start on this little girl's closet.  I have to admit, I was pretty overwhelmed but had the excitement of a kid in a candy store.  I'm still in shock at the idea that I can actually buy these adorable outfits. Uncle Tyler decided to join us and couldn't resist getting baby girl her first "I Love My Uncle" onsie.

Daddy is being very understanding of all this shopping.  As I showed him everything, I made sure to say, "Ok, don't look at the prices.... they were all on sale, I promise." He just smiled and said, "Hunny, I don't care." Good answer, Daddy :)

And So It Begins....Daddy's Little Girl's Nursery
Kyle practically had his sketch pad out the minute we left the Dr. office on Wednesday.  What was once Camden playroom will soon transform to a beautiful pink nursery. As of right now the color scheme is pink (light and dark), green and white.  Very similar to the colors of the dress to the left of the "I Love My Uncle" onsie in the above picture. We plan to paint the crib and matching dresser white, get new windows, and remove closet doors. I will be sure to keep you updated on Daddy's progress.

And So It Begins... Cam names Baby Sister
Skully. Yep, that's our new nickname for Sister.  For those of you unfamiliar with Jake and the Neverland Pirates (One of Cam's favorite shows), you can learn more about Skully HERE.

And So It Begins... Protective Big Brother
Camden colored Easter eggs with Papa and GG this weekend. He made some special pink ones for Baby Sister. Daddy wanted to eat the hard boiled eggs this morning for breakfast and just happened to grab the pink eggs. When Camden saw this, he said, "No, Daddy. Those eggs are for baby sister. You eat the boy ones. We have to save those for sister." I hate to break it to him, but I'm not keeping those eggs in my fridge for another 4 months!

And So It Begins... Spring Training!
With the gorgeous weather lately, Camden has wanted to spend every waking minute outside perfecting his baseball swing.  Here's a quick video of him hitting with his new tee-ball bat.
