February Update

Camden has had a wonderful February.... however, I haven't grabbed my camera as much I should have, so sorry for the lack in picture.  I've already slacked and #2 isn't even here yet :)
Cam enjoyed a weekend in Rockford with GG and Papa.  They visited a Bounceland and as you can tell, Cam had a blast.

We all helped celebrate Papa's birthday on February 7th!

Camden has been working on his letter recognition and writing lately.  He just woke up from a nap... so wanted nothing to do with this picture.

He chirped up shortly after getting to the party as he entertained everyone.   This kid could seriously dance and sing all day every day and be perfectly happy.

Baby #2 is cookin' away! I'm 16.5 weeks now and can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by.
16.5 Weeks!
How is Momma doing?

How Far along: 16.5 weeks. The baby is the size of an avocado.

Total weight gain: Still at 0! I have a feeling this will be my last update with no weight gain.

Maternity clothes: Yes, for the most part.  I still fit into one pair of my pants, but the others I wear a belly band because they don't quite button anymore.  I'm mostly in maternity shirts.

Sleep: Sleeping wonderfully! The dreams are still outrageous.  Last night I dreamt I woke up in the hospital and had gone into labor.  The nurses told me they couldn't confirm if my water broke, so they sent a police officer to my house to investigate. lol.

Best Moment this week: It's always amazing to hear your baby's heart beat.  At today's appointment, the baby was low in the uterus and it's heart beat was around 140.

Movement: So amazing!  I've felt flutters quite a bit.  I'm sure before too long Kyle and Camden will be able to feel too.

Gender: I think it's a boy.  Kyle won't say what he thinks it is.  However, I can only think about girl names.

Belly button: In, but its flattening out and probably going to pop out before 20 weeks.

Cravings: I've learned that I can not have chocolate chip cookies in the house.  I not only want them for every meal, but can't stop eating them once I start.  If I don't have those in the house, I am usually eating tons of fruit, yogurt, fruit smoothies, oatmeal, peanut butter toast, or anything pasta (with peas., yummm!)

What I miss: Still missing wine.  Especially when Kyle decides to pour a glass and then come sit next to me on the couch so I can smell it.

Stretch Marks: Nope.

What is different this time around: Starting today I have to get a weekly shot of progesterone to help prevent pre-term labor. Since Camden was 5 weeks early, my doctors believe there is a high chance this baby could come earlier than that.  I will also start seeing my doc every two weeks from here on out just to make sure everything is ok.
