Christmas has always been an exciting time for me.
Growing up, I have to give credit to my mom because she always made it magical for me and my brothers. Everything from decorations, Santa visits, listening for reindeer on the roof, Christmas music, decorating cookies, The Polar Express, and the themed Christmas morning breakfast table (my favorite).... I loved every minute of it.
I don't think Camden is having any problems catching on to mine and Kyle's love for the Christmas season. The wonder and excitement in his eyes have only made our hearts burst these days leading up to Christmas.
Sally has been hard at work flying back and forth from the North Pole to report to Santa. I have to admit that Camden has been an exceptionally good boy since Sally has come to stay with us. The other night during dinner he ate all his broccoli without being asked. Keep in mind that he NEVER eats any veggies.... He then ran out to Sally and exclaimed, "Sally, did you see that; I ate all my broccoli? Make sure you tell Santa, ok?"
This picture has really nothing to do with Christmas, but I thought I would keep you updated on what Camden LOVES to do in his spare time. Cut things. Don't worry... he uses childproof scissors. He will seriously sit down for 45 minutes and cut paper.
Camden received this cute Santa hat in the mail this week from Great Gramma Messinger's friend in AZ. He insisted on wearing it to Target, Church, and the Car Wash.... and then to bed.
Camden and I delivered homemade Christmas cards to a local nursing home this week with the Moms Club. Camden really got into it and wasn't shy at all. It was amazing to see the smiles and joy on their faces.....

I know this is Camden's blog, but after all he wouldn't be here if this special Christmas memory hadn't of happened. Christmas 2005 Kyle purposed to me in front of his entire family! I will never forget the day my best friend asked me to marry him. Let's just say the kids that Santa just delivered presents to were a little confused when I pulled off his beard to give him a smooch :)
