Sorry we haven't updated in awhile... we've been a little under the weather. Cam visited the ER for the first time in his life. I guess he "enjoyed" it so much we went 2 days in a row! :) Just kidding.. about the enjoyment part. Cam was diagnosed with Croup on Tuesday evening and was sent home with breathing treatments. We were up most of the night on Tuesday with a little boy who was gasping for air. It was so sad and helpless. Wednesday morning I called the Dr for advice and they recommended I take him back to the ER immediately. The Docs then put him on steroids and monitored him for about an hour. He is getting better each day!
The docs warned us that a side effect of the steroids and breathing treatments was hyper activity. Nice.. just what a sick child needs. Oh wait, or was the hyper activity due to the GINORMOUS cookie from mimi and papa? Don't worry, we only let Cam eat a sliver of this :) It did make him a very happy boy though!
Since we were stuck inside, we found lots of fun things to keep us busy this week....
