Camden got his first taste of Lake Michigan (from the Michigan side) this weekend. We packed our suits, sunscreen, and snacks and headed to South Haven. Cam couldn't forget his 3 pair of sunglasses (two of which are on his head below) and of course, his baseball mitt.
Daddy was the designated sandcastle builder... but every time he would start, Camden found much joy in squashing his creation. :)
Getting the hang of it....
As Cam stood in the water and noticed his feet sinking, he exclaimed, "The sand is eating my feet! Ahhhh!" And then he would giggle and run away.
Loved all the sand!

I was trying to think of the actual first time Camden visited Lake Michigan and then this picture popped in my head. I think I was only about 12 weeks when this picture was taken... but this was the "real" first time Camden visited Lake Michigan. Who knew this little bump would make us so incredibly happy.
