We had a wonderful Christmas back in Michigan. The drive.. not so wonderful, but it was really nice to be with family. We got in Monday night and spent a couple days with Kyle's family- we had the chance to visit with both sets of grandparents- which was really nice considering we had not seen his G&G Boehm since our wedding!
We spent Christmas morning at my parent's house and went to see Marley and Me Christmas night... I don't think I have ever cried so hard in the movie theater- must be the hormones!
Friday was fun- we got to hang out with Mitch, Emily and Julian. We fed, burped and even changed a really poopy diaper! Kyle and I are really getting the hang of this baby thing =) We also played Wii Fit...well I didn't because everyone was afraid I was going to fall over because of my poor center of balance. Thats ok, it was fun to watch and hold Julian. Friday night we went to the Pennfield alumni basketball game- first of all.. I still can't believe my little brother is an alumni! Secondly, it is hard to believe I have been out of high school for 6 years now.
Saturday was another fun-filled day with the Fowler side Christmas and baby shower! We got a lot of really nice gifts.. I think we should almost be set for this little guy to arrive.
Above is a picture of us on Christmas morning with our video camera from my parents- we are very excited to use it (and yes, I will post videos on here so you can see Baby Boehm in action=)
The other picture is of me 33 weeks preggers... or is there just a basketball under my shirt.. it sure feels like it. For the most part, I have really enjoyed being pregnant and would not trade it for the world. I have to say, I am happy to be done traveling to MI- 7.5 hrs in a car with limbs sticking in your ribs is not fun.
I am finally on the 2 weeks Dr. check ups. I go again on Jan 6th and will continue to keep everyone updated. And I have to say, I really do have the most amazing husband in the world. He is going to be the best daddy!
